Foundation Overview

The THADS Foundation was founded in 2022 with the mission to empower veterans and families through vocational education, entrepreneurship, and careers in the trades. Thad himself dedicated his life to service: as a Navy Seabee in WWII, in his decades-long career at Buick, and especially in his community, where he spent a lifetime giving back as an avid volunteer. After his passing, his family felt compelled to continue that service in a way that combined Thad’s passion and sense of purpose. The THADS Foundation connects people with organizations that honor our veterans through volunteerism, vocational education and training, and career opportunities.
